New key shells and cases are now available, if your existing key has broken, bent or stopped turning in the lock you can now buy a new key shell and swap the chip or circuit board over.

 

As you can imagine this option is a vastly cheaper solution than visiting the dealer for a new key.

 

If the buttons are worn on your existing key but it still works then a new case will also prolong the life of your key or remote fob by several years.
